Former Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior advised Chelsea to sign more \u201cmen\u201d as there were too many \u201cpetulant children\u201d in the squad according to reports.<\/p>\n

Rosenior was sacked on Wednesday following a dismal 3-0 defeat to Brighton, Chelsea\u2019s fifth in a row in the league without scoring.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old is the second head coach to leave Stamford Bridge this season following the departure of Enzo Maresca.<\/p>\n

Liam Rosenior wanted Chelsea to sign more \u201cmen\u201d<\/h2>\n

The Blues have made mistake after mistake when it comes to appointing head coaches, and signing players, with the club\u2019s sporting directors coming under severe pressure from fans.<\/p>\n

The make-up of the squad has been criticised, especially the lack of know how and leadership in the team, with a common theme under Rosenior one of wilting in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are reportedly open to signing players with proven Premier League experience this summer, whilst co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked. <\/p>\n

Reports had emerged of players not respecting Rosenior, and according to Chelsea contributor for The Observer Max F Sport, he\u2019d advised Chelsea to sign more \u201cmen.\u201d<\/p>\n

He took to X.com and said:<\/p>\n

\u201cExclusive: Understand some of Rosenior\u2019s feedback and advice on the current squad was to sign more \u2018men\u2019, he believed that apart from a select few players, not many would actually \u2018stand up and fight\u2019 when the tide got tough. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe few senior players Chelsea do have were also understood to be \u2018too quiet\u2019. A few squad members were also understood to have the behaviour of \u2018petulant children\u2019 when they were not picked or something did not go their way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
