Former Chelsea star William Gallas has told the Blues to snub Cesc Fabregas and appoint Diego Simeone as the club\u2019s next head coach.<\/p>\n

Chelsea sacked Liam Rosenior on Wednesday less than four months after appointing him, and are once again looking for another head coach.<\/p>\n

Rosenior is the second head coach to leave Chelsea this season, following the departure of Enzo Maresca in January.<\/p>\n

Calum McFarlane has been placed in temporary charge for the remainder of the season, whilst Chelsea\u2019s sporting directors look for a new head coach.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s understood there are seven or eight names under consideration, with Andoni Iraola reportedly an early front-runner.<\/p>\n

David Ornstein expects a head coach to be appointed early in the summer, and the sporting directors can\u2019t afford to get this appointment wrong.<\/p>\n

Como\u2019s president has said Fabregas is free to join Chelsea if he wishes, but Gallas has urged the blues to snub their ex-midfielder and appoint Simeone.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it all depends on what you are looking for,\u201d he said as quoted by GOAL.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFor the long-term, you can bring in Cesc Fabregas because he is doing well with his club at the moment. He is young and able to speak to a young squad. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s doing a good job. In the long term, he can bring Chelsea back to the positions where everybody wants to see Chelsea.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you are thinking about the short-term, to have success straight away, they need that experienced head to guide them like Diego Simone and with his personality he can win things very soon with Chelsea. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe the Chelsea players need him too because we need to see more warriors and soldiers in the team after what they\u2019ve shown us. I think you need that type of manager who is a little bit more harsh on the players.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
