West Ham supporters have made their feelings clear on Nuno Espirito Santo\u2019s future following the Newcastle defeat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Even though they are not officially relegated, the Hammers are fully expected to drop into the Championship this weekend.<\/p>\n

\n

Tottenham need just one point from two games (Chelsea away and Everton at home) to finish above West Ham.<\/p>\n

Most Hammers fans are not waiting until their fate is mathematically sealed to make their minds up on Nuno.<\/p>\n

They have already decided that he needs to be sacked after (probably) failing to keep his team in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

West Ham fans demand Nuno Espirito Santo sack<\/h2>\n

West Ham supporters have been discussing on TalkingPoints whether the club should keep Nuno Espirito Santo for the 2025\/26 Championship campaign.<\/p>\n

The majority have given up on him after the Hammers\u2019 dismal performance in a must-win game against Newcastle last weekend.<\/p>\n

Even though he has a promotion with Wolves on his CV, fans are not interested in seeing him in the dugout at the London Stadium anymore.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe failed. He got us relegated with his nonsense negative tactics,\u201d a supporter said. \u201cToday was the final straw. YAWN. Sack him now.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Another added: \u201cI think I\u2019ve seen enough of Nuno\u2019s so-called tactics! Time to find a manager who likes to play on the front foot!\u201d<\/p>\n

    \u201cHe\u2019s too negative, you need to score 90-100 goals to be promoted, and that\u2019s not going to happen with Nuno nor the current forwards,\u201d read one comment.<\/p>\n

    \u201cNuno is not the manager to take us forward, whichever division we are in,\u201d explained another. \u201cHe was yet again too defensive-minded. We needed to be on the front foot from the start. We should have started with a back four, not three.\u201d<\/p>\n

    It would appear that Nuno\u2019s defensive approach, epitomised by a back three against Newcastle, has completely lost the fanbase.<\/p>\n

    Ipswich\u2019s possession-based manager, Kieran McKenna, was suggested as a possible replacement, but why would he leave a Premier League club?<\/p>\n

    \u201cNuno\u2019s team selections and lack of a decent squad were poor, and I think we need a fresh start,\u201d the supporter wrote. \u201cI like the Ipswich manager, but don\u2019t think he\u2019d come. The board also needs to go. New owners, please.\u201d<\/p>\n

    However, not every West Ham fan wants Nuno to depart the club at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

    Two more responses were as follows: \u201cKeep Nuno. He would get us back up,\u201d and \u201cWe need to keep Nuno, a good manager, he will get us back up.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Still, the overwhelming likelihood is that Nuno will exit West Ham after almost certainly failing to prevent them from going down.<\/p>\n
