The question is how he is going to set up his team to play, and Sky\u2019s Kaveh Solhekol thinks he has the answer.<\/p>\n \u201cAlonso will not be wedded to playing three at the back at Chelsea,\u201d Solhekol said on Sky Sports yesterday.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe used that formation at Bayer Leverkusen because it suited the players he had in his squad. He is more than happy to play with a back four. Chelsea will play different formations under him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n We saw with Ruben Amorim at Manchester United how much of a disaster it was when a coach had a fixed system they were unable to change even when it didn\u2019t suit the squad (or perhaps the league itself).<\/p>\n Let\u2019s hope Alonso is more flexible \u2013 the good news is that he has from now until August to think about the group and his plans for them, and he will be able to guide the transfer business this summer accordingly.
