On the other, he\u2019s been rather shockingly left out of Brazil\u2019s World Cup squad despite that strong campaign.<\/p>\n We\u2019re not Brazil experts, but looking at the forwards they have picked, it does seem amazing JP isn\u2019t in there. Not just because he\u2019s had a good season, but also because his size and physicality offer something really different to their other options.<\/p>\n Igor Thiago had a great season and scored a lot of Premier League goals \u2013 do you think any Chelsea fan would trade him for JP, however? We wouldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n In Chelsea terms, it\u2019s actually great news. The former Brighton man will get a much needed summer off, and more time to work with new manager Xabi Alonso.
