Former Premier League midfielder Jamie Redknapp has handed West Ham a survival hope after Chelsea vs Tottenham.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spurs only needed a point at Stamford Bridge to avoid relegation and send the Hammers down to the Championship.<\/p>\n

\n

The Blues\u2019 2-1 victory means the relegation battle will be decided on the final day, with West Ham needing another favour.<\/p>\n

Not only do they need to beat Leeds at home, but they also need David Moyes\u2019 Everton to beat Tottenham away.<\/p>\n

Even though it remains a tall order, Redknapp has not ruled out West Ham completing a great escape this weekend.<\/p>\n

Jamie Redknapp tears into Tottenham as West Ham survival hopes boosted<\/h2>\n

Redknapp had nothing positive to say about Tottenham after they lost to Chelsea once again at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

The West London club were hardly at their best, but they did not need to be against a \u201chorrendous\u201d Spurs team.<\/p>\n

Redknapp even claimed that Roberto De Zerbi\u2019s side are \u201csleepwalking to relegation\u201d ahead of a pivotal final day.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said it earlier in the season: they are sleepwalking to relegation,\u201d he explained in the Sky Sports studio after the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been absolutely diabolical, and if they do get relegated, it\u2019s nothing more than they deserve because they\u2019ve been awful all season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Redknapp\u2019s words echo the feelings of many Tottenham supporters, who feel destined to be relegated this season.<\/p>\n

This should give West Ham huge confidence ahead of their match against Leeds, with Premier League safety still to play for.<\/p>\n

All they can do is take care of business at the London Stadium and hope that Moyes saves them in truly ironic circumstances.<\/p>\n
