West Ham are praying for a miracle from the Moyesiah when former manager David Moyes takes his Everton side to Spurs for the game which will decide the club\u2019s Premier League survival.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are nine possible outcomes when West Ham welcome Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur play Everton in the relegation shootout on the final day of the Premier League season this Sunday.<\/p>\n

Only one of those outcomes will result in the Hammers staying up while the other eight see Spurs safe.<\/p>\n

The permutations are very simple \u2013 West Ham must beat Leeds and hope Tottenham lose to David Moyes\u2019 Everton.<\/p>\n

Redknapp says Moyes will be furious and motivated at Spurs<\/h2>\n

Moyes twice saved West Ham from relegation in two spells as manager before completely turning the club around.<\/p>\n

Hailed the messiah for the east Londoners, it earned the Scot the nickname the Moyesiah.<\/p>\n

Now the Irons need a miracle from the Moyesiah at Tottenham.<\/p>\n

The worry for West Ham is three-fold.<\/p>\n

Everton are in dreadful form and were particularly poor in the 3-1 defeat to Sunderland last weekend.<\/p>\n

As a result the Toffees no longer have European football to play for at Spurs.<\/p>\n

Then there is the question of Moyes\u2019 mentality and approach towards the game.<\/p>\n

There was a touch of bitterness when Moyes aimed a dig at West Ham\u2019s fans and owners ahead of Everton\u2019s defeat at the London Stadium recently.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes everybody wants a little bit more,\u201d Moyes said at the end of that press conference.<\/p>\n

Redknapp says West Ham have survival Sunday edge over Spurs<\/h2>\n

Many West Ham fans were fed up of the style of football under the Scot and wanted a more attack-minded, modern approach.<\/p>\n

Hammers chief David Sullivan withdrew the contract he had offered Moyes when the man who ended West Ham\u2019s 43-year wait for a major trophy made it clear he was unhappy at ceding power of veto on transfers to Tim Steidten \u2013 as well as the plan to remove his son David Junior from the scouting setup.<\/p>\n

A minority handful of West Ham fans even brought a Moyes Out banner to some matches when results dipped.<\/p>\n

So there is an argument seeing West Ham relegated would prove Moyes and his backers right in their warning \u2018be careful what you wish for\u2019.<\/p>\n

But there has been some reassurance about the situation from a man who knows both West Ham and Spurs well.<\/p>\n

Jamie Redknapp has given West Ham hope about how Moyes will approach the Spurs clash.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Sky Sports after Tottenham\u2019s defeat at Chelsea kept West Ham\u2019s survival hopes alive, Redknapp believes the situation on the final day favours Nuno Espirito Santo\u2019s side over Roberto De Zerbi\u2019s men.<\/p>\n

And he says Moyes will be going into the game furious and highly motivated.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey (Spurs) are sleepwalking to relegation,\u201d Redknapp said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only thing that has saved them is a couple of good results. When I say good, they beat Wolves and Villa, who had seven out. Now have to find a way to win at home (against Everton). Their home form has been so bad this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve not had any quality, no character to win a match. Now they have Everton. <\/p>\n

\u201cDavid Moyes will be fuming after the weekend, and he\u2019ll be going there thinking, \u2018We\u2019ve got to get something out of this game.\u2019 I\u2019d rather be playing Leeds than Everton.\u201d<\/p>\n

De Zerbi has explained why people want West Ham to stay up over Spurs as the battle for survival goes down to the final day.<\/p>\n
