He\u2019s done so well that he\u2019s already being talked about as a potential England call up for the World Cup \u2013 and has been put into transfer rumours too.<\/p>\n A piece in Marca today gushes about the \u201cmodern\u201d central defender as the sort that teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona are looking for. They compare him with Ibrahima Konate and Alessandro Bastoni, defenders heavily linked with Madrid and Barca respectively.<\/p>\n Chelsea aren\u2019t going to let Colwill go anywhere, we can be pretty sure of that. We\u2019d imagine he will be happy to stay put next season and just get a full campaign under his belt.
