Robert Sanchez has spoken about the difficulties Chelsea had in getting ready for Tuesday\u2019s game after a painful defeat at the weekend.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
If you enjoy Chelsea News coverage and want to see more of it, add us as a preferred source on Google to make us a favourite and see more of our content.<\/em><\/p>\n Interim manager Calum McFarlane admitted that some of his players were \u201cdead on their feet\u201d during the win over Tottenham on Tuesday night because of the lack of time to recover after Saturday\u2019s FA Cup final defeat to Man City.<\/p>\n According to goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, it was exhausting mentally too.<\/p>\n \u201cWe only had 48 hours to prepare for the game, so it was difficult, especially after a final like that when we had the chance to win a trophy,\u201d Sanchez said in quotes on the Chelsea website.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe knew Spurs were going to come with a lot of energy. Obviously, they\u2019re fighting for their lives, so we had to try to match that energy for the 90 minutes.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the boys did that. They stayed composed when they had to under the pressure and we took our chances.
