Former Chelsea winger Joe Cole is NOT happy with Chelsea\u2019s owners once again, and he targets their \u201cnonsense PR\u201d this time.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Cole has been one of the more vocal former Chelsea players who has voiced his views on what has been going on at the club lately, like the majority of the Blues fan base too. Cole after all is just another Chelsea fan now, and he lives and feels it all like all of us.<\/p>\n

If you do not think things have been anything but toxic and turmoil at this club for the last four years under the ownership of Blueco, then you have been living in a huge bubble.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have missed out on Champions League football yet again this season and are struggling to even make the Conference League, which no fan even wants to be in again. So, things are bad, still.<\/p>\n

In quotes picked up on X yesterday, Cole said on The Dressing Room Podcast:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat annoyed me about the announcement with (Xabi) Alonso was, we were still on air, Chelsea just lost the FA Cup final.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s been one of these big journalists who I know is connected to the club, so they leak things through the big journalists, you\u2019ve got the Twitter followers and all that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like that PR nonsense. They\u2019ve announced it half an hour before the end of the show, and that makes me cautious about the future, are they actually changing, because if you\u2019re going to change, even in your blueCo, you go right, you need to be honest, you made the mistakes you\u2019ve made, and fans don\u2019t want to be PRed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey just want to be told we\u2019ve made a mistake, we\u2019ve come in, we\u2019ve wasted a lot of money, and now this is what we do, we\u2019re going to go with Xabi Alonso, and we\u2019re going give him complete ownership on the club and we are going to trust him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chelsea have seemingly given the keys to their operation to Xabi Alonso in order to persuade him to join \u2013 and we don\u2019t mind that at all. Alonso has been elevated to sporting director level!<\/p>\n

Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has been linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid this summer after returning to full fitness. It could be a long summer of rumours around Chelsea!<\/p>\n
