Barcelona sporting director Deco has spoken on a potential move for Joao Pedro amid links to the Brazil international.<\/p>\n

Pedro arrived at Chelsea last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to \u00a360m, and has impressed in his debut campaign.<\/p>\n

The Brazil international has scored 20 goals in all competitions, with 15 of those coming in the Premier League, and he was rightly voted Chelsea\u2019s Player of the Year.<\/p>\n

Deco speaks on potential move for Joao Pedro<\/h2>\n

However, Pedro\u2019s form wasn\u2019t enough to earn him a place in Brazil\u2019s World Cup squad, with Carlo Ancelotti choosing to overlook him.<\/p>\n

His form hasn\u2019t gone unnoticed though, and Pedro is believed to have attracted interest from Spanish champions Barcelona.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported Pedro is set to tell Xabi Alonso he wants to leave this summer, whilst Chelsea have maintained their stance that he\u2019s not for sale.<\/p>\n

Deco was reportedly at Wembley to watch the FA Cup final, and he\u2019s now spoken on the potential signing of Pedro.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not about profile. We\u2019re not ruling anyone out, nor are we signing anyone,\u201d he said as quoted on X.com.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThese (fair play) are internal matters. What we have to guarantee is that we\u2019ll work as we do every year. We\u2019ve lost a very important player like Robert, and of course we\u2019re going to try to strengthen the team.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
