They have only lost once to Chelsea at the Stadium of Light in their last four matches there.<\/li>\n<li>Sunderland were impressive last weekend, defeating Everton 1-3 to essentially end the European hopes of the <em>Toffees <\/em>while bolstering their own. Regis Le Bris&#8217; side are now three matches unbeaten following their humiliating 0-5 loss to Nottingham Forest in April.<\/li>\n<li>Chelsea picked up a big win over London rivals Tottenham on Tuesday, plunging Spurs into further relegation danger while giving interim boss Callum McFarlane his first Premier League victory. Remarkably, the win was Chelsea&#8217;s first in the league since they beat Aston Villa on March 4th.<\/li>\n<li>The Stadium of Light tends to have an intimidating reputation, but remarkably, Sunderland&#8217;s home form has not been great in recent months. Since beating Burnley at home on February 2nd, they have only won one of their next six home games, edging out struggling Spurs on April 12th.<\/li>\n<li>Goals have been a major issue for Sunderland all season, with their total of 40 scored being fewer than every other Premier League team outside of relegated Burnley and Wolves. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>Sunderland vs Chelsea Prediction<\/h2>\n<p>Neither of these sides have been in the best form recently, but the fact that both teams won their last game makes this one quite difficult to predict.<\/p>\n<p>However, while some pundits have suggested Chelsea might be better off not qualifying for Europe, the <em>Blues <\/em>feel like the slightly safer bet here.
