But this year he played more minutes than in any season since 2020-2021, and we\u2019re expecting him to close out the campaign with another start tomorrow.<\/p>\n Speaking to the club\u2019s official website, the captain gave some thoughts on his personal growth this season.<\/p>\n \u201cThis season, I\u2019ve grown a lot. I\u2019ve been out there with the team, and I find it much easier when I\u2019m fit and healthy,\u201d James said.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think that was one of the highlights. A lot of people wrote me off. I\u2019ve come back this season, and I\u2019ve played a decent number of games.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s no coincidence that the collapse in form that saw us tumble down the table and saw Liam Rosenior sacked coincided perfectly with James\u2019 recent hamstring problem.<\/p>\n One person who didn\u2019t write him off was Thomas Tuchel, who has selected him for this summer\u2019s World Cup.
