That means no Champions League, no Europe League, no Conference League. There will be no European football at all at Stamford Bridge next season.<\/p>\n The argument is that this gives Xabi Alonso more time to work next season, and there is truth to that. With no midweek European games, the expectations in the league rise even higher.<\/p>\n But there are downsides too. It means less money coming in, less attraction for new players, and fewer minutes to give out to youngsters \u2013 which was the only positive of our Conference League campaign.<\/p>\n Can there be any complaints? This team don\u2019t deserve to be in Europe.
