confirmed \u201cas part of the money they receive from central payments, clubs earn money based on their final positions in the Premier League table, with these merit payments based on a sliding scale calculated according to where you finish, from 1st to 20th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<aside\/>\n<div class=\"sc-gEvEer kGHzwr\">\n<div class=\"sc-aXZVg iLuLZl\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Arsenal<\/strong>for example, are set to receive 20 times the basic merit payment, while the club who finish second get 19 times, and so on.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-gEvEer kGHzwr\">\n<div class=\"sc-aXZVg iLuLZl\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cLast season, each place was worth approximately an additional \u00a32.6m, with champions Liverpool earning \u00a353.1m, while bottom club Southampton received \u00a32.6m.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-gEvEer kGHzwr\">\n<div class=\"sc-aXZVg iLuLZl\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>Domestic and international  broadcast revenues are divided equally between the 20 teams. who will also get around \u00a38m from \u201ccentral commercial revenue streams\u201d, as confirmed by the Premier League last summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-gEvEer kGHzwr\">\n<div class=\"sc-aXZVg iLuLZl\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>Looking again at last season, champions Liverpool took home \u00a3174.9m in Premier League prize money, while bottom-of-the-pile Southampton got \u00a365.7m less with \u00a3109.2m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<aside\/>\n<div class=\"sc-gEvEer kGHzwr\">\n<div class=\"sc-aXZVg iLuLZl\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>That is a good yardstick for this season, with the final totals not set to be confirmed until July 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-gEvEer kGHzwr\">\n<div class=\"sc-aXZVg iLuLZl\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Manchester United<\/strong> can expect to take home around \u00a3165.5m for finishing third, while <strong>Liverpool<\/strong> will pocket \u00a3160.2m for finishing fifth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-gEvEer kGHzwr\">\n<div class=\"sc-aXZVg iLuLZl\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Chelsea<\/strong> dropped  to 10th after the final round of games, which is worth \u00a3138.9m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-gEvEer kGHzwr\">\n<div class=\"sc-aXZVg iLuLZl\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Tottenham<\/strong> secured back-to-back 17th-placed finishes, and earned \u00a3127.8m for avoiding relegation last season. <strong>West Ham<\/strong>who finished
