Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out a transfer update that wont convince Chelsea fans right now.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Things are toxic and turmoil at this club, and despite the little pick me up of being able to hire new manager Xabi Alonso, Chelsea fans will not be feeling too positive this weekend after watching their club finish an embarrassing 10th place in the Premier League after what has been another terrible season for them.<\/p>\n

And what makes it even worse is that they could have got a Europa League spot yesterday if they had just managed a draw at Sunderland. Yet losing the game sees them even without Conference League football and egg on the face of the owners once again.<\/p>\n

Romano is speaking about Joao Pedro, who is clearly interested by a move to Barcelona. Chelsea fans will not be convinced that he will stay, so this report wont offer much hope to them right now.<\/p>\n

Romano said on YouTube:<\/p>\n

\u201cIn terms of Chelsea desire, as of today, it\u2019s a very high wall around Jo\u00e2o Pedro. It\u2019s been a tough season for Chelsea, and to let Jo\u00e2o Pedro go at this stage of the project with a new ambitious coach like Xabi Alonso seems something really, really complicated.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, at the moment, Chelsea have absolutely no intention to discuss, and it\u2019s not about 90 million, 100 million, 120 It\u2019s not about numbers. Chelsea won\u2019t restart their project with a top coach like Xabi Alonso, and with top players like Jo\u00e2o Pedro, Cole Palmers, and others.\u201d<\/p>\n
