But Robert Sanchez\u2019s good form to end the season and the relative disasters in defence and attack have lowered the priority of a new keeper. The source says it\u2019s \u201cundecided\u201d whether the Blues aim to sign a new first choice.<\/p>\n A lot will depend on who they can secure in other positions, and how sales go. But right now it feels to us like Sanchez will be first choice once again, with perhaps a new backup or Mike Penders back from loan to compete with him.<\/p>\n If a cheaper veteran option becomes available, like Mike Maignan last summer, it\u2019s still feasible we could pursue that.
