West Ham are already looking to replace Nuno Espirito Santo less than 24 hours after their relegation was confirmed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nuno is expected to leave this week after just eight months in charge, having failed to keep the Hammers in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

West Ham\u2019s 3-0 victory over Leeds on Sunday was not enough to survive, as Tottenham also won 1-0 against Everton.<\/p>\n

Former Hammers player Scott Parker and an ex-Wolves manager have been linked with the soon-to-be vacant position.<\/p>\n

West Ham shortlist Gary O\u2019Neil and Scott Parker as Nuno expected to leave<\/h2>\n

Scott Parker has been tipped to replace Nuno Espirito Santo at West Ham ever since Burnley sacked him in March.<\/p>\n

Parker is considered a Championship specialist, having earned promotion with Fulham, Bournemouth and Burnley.<\/p>\n

He also made over 100 Premier League appearances for West Ham and is well-liked by the club\u2019s supporters.<\/p>\n

However, Parker is not a shoo-in for the managerial position at the London Stadium, as there is at least one other contender.<\/p>\n

Journalist Jacob Steinberg has reported that Strasbourg boss Gary O\u2019Neil is a \u201cpotential candidate to replace Nuno\u201d.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Neil has spent the last five months at Strasbourg after replacing Liam Rosenior following his move to Chelsea.<\/p>\n

The French club finished in eighth place in Ligue 1, narrowly missing out on European qualification by one point.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Neil has previously managed both Bournemouth and Wolves in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Many thought he was unfortunate to be sacked by Bournemouth after finishing 15th in his first and only season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, O\u2019Neil\u2019s struggles at Wolves stemmed from losing several key players, such as Matheus Nunes and Ruben Neves.<\/p>\n

Although his coaching career has been inconsistent, West Ham would struggle to find a better appointment in the Championship.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Neil also spent two seasons playing at Upton Park (2011-2013), so he has existing knowledge of the club.<\/p>\n
