West Ham had 13 players out on loan as the 2025\/26 campaign came to an end.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Hammers used the loan system to give both senior players and academy prospects valuable minutes away from the London Stadium.<\/p>\n

\n

Several first-team names spent the season elsewhere, including Niclas Fullkrug, Maxwel Cornet and James Ward-Prowse.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, younger talents, such as George Earthy and Callum Marshall, also gained experience across England and Europe.<\/p>\n

West Ham players on loan 2025\/26<\/h2>\n

Edson Alvarez<\/h3>\n

    Edson Alvarez was a mainstay in the Fenerbahce midfield before suffering a long-term ankle injury over the winter.<\/p>\n

    Alvarez only made one appearance after his return, as the Turkish club signed both N\u2019Golo Kante and Matteo Guendouzi in his position.<\/p>\n

      Battrum started and played 90 minutes in all eight of Braintree Town\u2019s National League fixtures after joining the club.<\/p>\n

        Kaelan Casey was recalled from his loan at Championship side Swansea and joined League One team Leyton Orient in the January transfer window.<\/p>\n

        Casey was then dropped from Orient\u2019s starting XI as the East London club battled to survive relegation to League Two.<\/p>\n

          From injuries to poor performances, Maxwel Cornet\u2019s loan move to Genoa could not have gone much worse.<\/p>\n

          The Frenchman played only 112 minutes across eight appearances for the Serie A side, starting just once.<\/p>\n

            Unfortunately, the attacking midfielder did not hit the ground running at Ashton Gate, starting just two of the Robins\u2019 last 19 league games.<\/p>\n

              Forbes was not in the matchday squad for any of Northampton\u2019s last nine league games, as they finished bottom of League One.<\/p>\n

                  Hegyi helped MTK stave off relegation from the Hungarian top division, despite conceding 23 goals in 14 league games.<\/p>\n

                    Landers was an impact sub in the final six league games and in all three play-off matches, losing the final to Rochdale on penalties.<\/p>\n

                      Marshall showed remarkable versatility, playing as a striker, attacking midfielder, left winger and right winger at various times.<\/p>\n

                        The full-back was substituted after just 37 minutes in the Wood\u2019s 2-2 draw against Woking in the National League.<\/p>\n

                          Goalkeeper Mason Terry could not save Braintree Town from relegation, as they finished 23rd in the National League.<\/p>\n

                          The goalkeeper kept 11 clean sheets and conceded 63 goals this season. He also scored a late equaliser in the National League Cup.<\/p>\n
