27 Apr 2026 07:00 BST |<\/span> Nicolas Jackson will return to Chelsea this summer after Bayern Munich elected not to buy out his loan contract, and the striker\u2019s agent has provided an update on the future of the 24-year-old.<\/p>\n Since joining Chelsea in a \u20ac37 million deal in 2023, he has struggled to convince bosses at Stamford Bridge that he is a long-term option for the No.9 role.<\/p>\n Nevertheless, the move on loan to Bayern was never truly seen as a switch that was likely to produce a permanent transfer, with the player\u2019s \u20ac65m fee proving to be too much for the Bundesliga champions, who already have Harry Kane for the No.9 role.<\/p>\n Bayern will not retain Jackson at the end of his loan move, prompting a response from Diomansy Kamara, who acts as the player\u2019s agent.<\/p>\n \u201cNico is having an excellent season with 28 matches played, 10 goals,\u201d he posted on his Instagram<\/b> account.<\/p>\n \u201cAfrican champion, German champion and also qualified for the DFB Pokal final. Its Career Advice tool, which scores clubs based on a wide variety of metrics, gives Pep Guardiola\u2019s side a Club Fit of 83, which is an excellent score.<\/p>\n However, with Erling Haaland already in their ranks, playing time would be limited at the Etihad Stadium, and with Jackson aiming to be a key figure, this could be a factor that breaks any move.<\/p>\n Aston Villa, meanwhile, score 79, offering greater playing time but less development opportunities. Given where Nico is in his career currently, this could be attractive.<\/p>\n Manchester United, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund all receive scores of 78, making them viable options, too.<\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear what the future holds for Jackson, with Chelsea loaded in his position and needing to make sales.
