Chelsea are not considering a coaching role for Thiago Silva despite him currently completing his coaching badges according to reports.<\/p>\n

Silva left Chelsea in the summer of 2024 after a successful four year spell at the club, during which he won the Champions League.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian returned to Brazil to sign for Fluminense, before joining Portuguese giants Porto in January, where he won the league title.<\/p>\n

Chelsea not considering a coaching role for Thiago Silva<\/h2>\n

Silva has now left Porto, and is weighing up the next step in his career, whether that be another season of playing or retirement.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old is currently completing his coaching badges, and is believed to be half way through completing his UEFA A license.<\/p>\n

Reports in Brazil suggested Chelsea had offered Silva a role to become part of the club\u2019s wider infrastructure, before eventually progressing to a coaching role.<\/p>\n

However, The Sun have reported Chelsea aren\u2019t currently considering a role for Silva in their set-up, despite both of his sons being part of the club\u2019s Cobham academy.<\/p>\n

Silva made 155 appearances for the Blues, and has a brilliant relationship with the fans who\u2019d welcome him back with open arms.<\/p>\n
