Chelsea have every intention of keeping Joao Pedro this summer, and it\u2019ll be very difficult for Barcelona to sign him according to Fabrizio Romano.<\/p>\n

The Blues only signed Pedro last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to \u00a360m, and he hit the ground running in his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Pedro scored 20 goals in competitions, with 15 of those coming in the Premier League, but Chelsea endured another difficult season as they finished tenth.<\/p>\n

Despite his form, Pedro was surprisingly left out of the Brazil squad for World Cup by former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti.<\/p>\n

However, his form hasn\u2019t gone unnoticed, and Spanish champions Barcelona have shown interest in Pedro as they look for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.<\/p>\n

Pedro is said to be happy at Stamford Bridge, and Romano has now provided an update on Barcelona\u2019s pursuit of the Brazilian.<\/p>\n

New manager Xabi Alonso has a big job on his hands, and reportedly only wants players who are fully committed to Chelsea.<\/p>\n
