Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers. <\/p>\n

It has been widely reported that United are prioritising strengthening their midfield, with the Red Devils thought to be nearing an agreement for Atalanta\u2019s Ederson.<\/p>\n

However, INEOS also intend to sign a forward for Michael Carrick ahead of the next campaign.<\/p>\n

Manchester United keen on Morgan Rogers<\/h3>\n

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United are interested in signing Aston Villa\u2019s Morgan Rogers. He is also admired at Arsenal and Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Rogers, who moved to Birmingham from Middlesbrough in 2024, has proven to be a revelation under Unai Emery.<\/p>\n

A superb striker of the ball and an aggressive ball-carrier, Rogers, who is six-foot two inches tall, has impressed as a left winger as well as an attacking midfielder for Villa.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old wrapped up the campaign with 14 goals and 12 assists to his name, which also saw him earn a place in Thomas Tuchel\u2019s England squad for the World Cup ahead of Phil Foden, Cole Palmer and Morgan Gibbs-White.<\/p>\n

Rogers played an instrumental role in Villa\u2019s Europa League triumph, guaranteeing a Champions League spot for his side.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports claims Villa qualifying for the Champions League will have \u201clittle bearing on the future\u201d of Rogers.<\/p>\n

It is understood Villa are expected to listen to offers around the \u00a380 million mark, as such a figure would allow Villa to reinvest in other areas of the squad.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt remains to be seen whether one of the interested clubs, which also includes Paris Saint-Germain in the background, approach Villa before Rogers goes to the World Cup with England,\u201d the report adds.<\/p>\n

Rogers is tied to the club until 2031. However, in April Sky Sport\u2019s Sacha Tavolieri revealed that the England international is \u201cvery open\u201d to a move to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The former Manchester City youngster played under Carrick at Middlesbrough.<\/p>\n
