Ex-Liverpool star Jon Aldridge has disagreed with Jamie Carragher, who believes the Reds must invest in their right-midfield attacking options. Carragher recently said the club must focus on replenishing the goals lost by the departure of Mohamed Salah. <\/p>\n
However, Aldridge believes Liverpool’s focus needs to be spent elsewhere. He said: \u201cThey may not end up spending anywhere near as much as last summer. But it promises to be another big transfer window for Liverpool.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it needs to be. The squad isn\u2019t good enough and isn\u2019t deep enough. That has been proven throughout the season. For me, the priority simply has to be a holding midfielder.<\/p>\n
