This is according to CaughtOffside, who say that Brighton\u2019s Yasin Ayari has emerged as a target for the Lilywhites ahead of the new season.<\/p>\n

The Sweden international established himself as a key cog in the Seagulls\u2019 midfield last season, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 29 Premier League appearances.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old\u2019s impressive displays have not only brought him to the attention of Tottenham, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle United also credited with an interest in the youngster.<\/p>\n

Brighton are making efforts to keep Ayari<\/h2>\n

The midfielder\u2019s current deal at the Amex Stadium has just one year left, which is why CaughtOffside say that he is entering an \u2018important stage\u2019 in his career.<\/p>\n

The website reveals that Fabian Hurzeler sees Ayari as a key part of his set-up and Brighton are keen to tie him down to a new deal before he attracts aggressive approaches from other Premier League sides.<\/p>\n
