He replaces Antoine Kombouare at Paris FC after the club finished 11th in Ligue 1 last season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-sm md:text-(17px) leading-relaxed text-gray-700 mb-4 md:mb-5\"><span>Paris FC are owned by the Arnault family, with Red Bull holding a minority stake in the club, and have made clear their ambitions to push on from last season&#8217;s mid-table finish. The takeover, completed last year, marked the club&#8217;s return to the Paris top-flight picture for the first time in decades, backed by significant financial investment aimed at building a squad capable of competing more consistently in Ligue 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-sm md:text-(17px) leading-relaxed text-gray-700 mb-4 md:mb-5\"><span>In a statement, the club said Rosenior was appointed because of his &#8220;wealth of experience at the highest level&#8221;, his ability to nurture young talent and his commitment to &#8220;attractive and attacking football&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-sm md:text-(17px) leading-relaxed text-gray-700 mb-4 md:mb-5\"><span>Rosenior had taken over at Chelsea in January, replacing Enzo Maresca after the Italian&#8217;s move to Manchester City followed a breakdown in his relationship with the club hierarchy. An encouraging start to his Stamford Bridge tenure quickly unravelled, however, and Rosenior lost each of his final five Premier League matches in charge, with Chelsea failing to score in any of them, leaving his position untenable heading into the new season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-sm md:text-(17px) leading-relaxed text-gray-700 mb-4 md:mb-5\"><span>Despite that difficult ending, Rosenior remains well regarded for his work at Chelsea&#8217;s sister club Strasbourg, who finished seventh in 2024-25 and qualified for the Uefa Conference League fielding the youngest squad among Europe&#8217;s top five leagues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-sm md:text-(17px) leading-relaxed text-gray-700 mb-4 md:mb-5\"><span>His coaching career began with Brighton&#8217;s Under-23s before a move to Derby County, initially as Wayne Rooney&#8217;s assistant before stepping up to interim first-team charge.
