The French U21 international had a stellar campaign, and his performances with Bournemouth last season have caught the eye of Spurs.

Kroupi stands out as an exciting option, capable not only of playing as a striker but also as a left winger and attacking midfielder.

Last season, he showed just how lethal he can be from the centre of the pitch, scoring 13 goals in 33 Premier League appearances in only his first season in the competition.

Given his age and potential, he is not expected to come cheap, with Spurs possibly needing to pay as much as they did to West Ham for Mateus Fernandes. Reports suggest an offer in the region of £80m for Kroupi would be enough to get Bournemouth’s attention.

Competition, however, remains with Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Chelsea all keen on Kroupi this summer.

Still, there is no denying he would greatly improve Spurs’ forward line. Looking at his output, the 20-year-old outperformed two of Tottenham’s forwards last season.

Richarlison was the top scorer for the Lilywhites, but he managed just 11 goals from 32 appearances, while Dominic Solanke returned three goals in 15 appearances.

<figure Tottenham still have the option of bolstering their attack even further with Dusan Vlahovic.

For a long time, the Serbian forward has been linked with Spurs, and once again, those links remain.

We already know Tottenham are not shy of dipping into the free agent pool, having signed Andy Robertson, Martin Dubravka and Marcos Senesi all for free.

Vlahovic could well become a fourth free signing, and he would arrive with great threat, capable of elevating the forward line even further.

Last season, the former Juventus man managed seven goals in Serie A and ten in all competitions, doing so in 23 appearances.

The signing of both he and Kroupi would surely add firepower to Spurs’ attack next campaign, given the dismal season they had in front of goal last term, scoring just 48 league goals.

Vlahovic and Kroupi also stand out in several key metrics when compared to Tottenham forwards Richarlison and Solanke.

<figure
