Mykhailo Mudryk is soon set to learn what the future holds for him, with the Chelsea winger\u2019s appeal to CAS regarding his ban already underway.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mudryk hasn\u2019t appeared for Chelsea since November 2024 after being charged with violating the anti-doping rules, and was later handed a four year ban from football.<\/p>\n

\n

Mudryk has appealed this, however up to now it has been radio silence on what the future holds for him in terms of his Blues career.<\/p>\n

Mykhailo Mudryk update finally due soon<\/h2>\n

The Ukraine international has been left training alone during this time, however Liam Twomey believes it will not be long before there is an update regarding his future.<\/p>\n

He told the Straight Outta Cobham podcast that the appeal is in its final stages, with developments expected in the coming weeks for his situation.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWell, the last conversation I had on this, I was told that there could be developments in the next two, three weeks. Now, unfortunately, it wasn\u2019t any more specific than that, but we are at the CAS stage of the process, which is the final stage. There is no appeal to the court, beyond the court of arbitration for sport, their decision is final.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo whether there is a set hearing or not, then Mudryk will know exactly where he stands, whether he\u2019s cleared, whether he\u2019s got an adjusted ban, whether he still has to serve the remainder of this, this four-year ban that the FA hit him with and didn\u2019t tell anyone. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then everyone can proceed with a bit more knowledge and closure, but right now, I think he\u2019s still, he\u2019s still in that same kind of purgatorial state that he was when I watched him train a couple of months ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chelsea continue to spend big money on new wingers<\/h2>\n

Chelsea have adopted the \u2018if at first you don\u2019t succeed, try, try again\u2019 mantra when it comes to signing wingers.<\/p>\n

The likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens have so far been unsuccessful purchases, with the former heavily linked with a move away.<\/p>\n

There is hope that the additions of Estevao Willian and Geovany Quenda are going to become hits. Quenda is set to make his Chelsea debut next season.<\/p>\n

There remains an extreme amount of uncertainty over what the future holds for Mudryk, who was actually impressing in the Conference League before his suspension.<\/p>\n
