Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make an ambitious move to beat one of the biggest clubs in Europe to a Manchester United forward.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has been widely reported that Spurs are ready to undertake an ambitious rebuild of the squad this summer if they stay in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Roberto De Zerbi has been handed plenty of power to shape the Tottenham squad ahead of his first full season in charge in North London.<\/p>\n

It has now emerged that the Lilywhites are ready to reinforce their forward line by making an experienced wide-forward, who has scored 13 goals and provided 13 assists across all competitions this season.<\/p>\n

Tottenham could take advantage of Barcelona\u2019s indecision to sign Marcus Rashford<\/h2>\n

According to Sport, Spurs are showing an interest in securing the services of Marcus Rashford if they remain in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old has thrived on loan at Camp Nou this summer, but his future remains up in the air ahead of the summer window.<\/p>\n

Barcelona have an option to sign Rashford permanently for \u00a326m from Old Trafford this summer, but the Catalan club\u2019s hierarchy has not yet decided if they will activate it.<\/p>\n

Spurs\u2019 interest in the England international is described as \u2018genuine\u2019, with the Premier League side looking to take advantage of the La Liga club\u2019s indecision to push through a deal for the forward.<\/p>\n

Why Spurs may struggle to secure the services of Rashford<\/h2>\n

The 28-year-old\u2019s current deal is worth \u00a3300,000-a-week, and if he demands that Tottenham match that salary, he would become far and away the highest-paid player in Spurs\u2019 books.<\/p>\n

While reports indicate that Tottenham are ready to remove their self-imposed wage cap this summer, it remains to be seen if they would be able to reach an agreement with Rashford.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Spurs will not have any European football next season, and may thus not find it easy to convince the Man United man that he can fulfil his ambitions at N17.<\/p>\n
