Manchester United have been told why Andrey Santos is more guaranteed to get game time at Old Trafford compared to his time with Chelsea. United are close to completing the signing of the midfielder from the Londoners as they continue to strengthen their midfield options.<\/p>\n
News emerged on Wednesday that United had agreed a \u00a350million deal to sign Santos from Chelsea, who looks set to become the first signing since Michael Carrick became the club\u2019s manager on a permanent basis.<\/p>\n
The structure of the deal includes a \u00a348million initial fee plus a further \u00a32million in add-ons for the Brazil international, with United and Chelsea also agreeing a sell-on clause to be included in the transfer.<\/p>\n

Santos looks set to become the first signing for United this summer, with Atalanta star Ederson also expected to move to Old Trafford after a \u00a338.8million package was agreed earlier this in the transfer window.<\/p>\n
With Santos looking likely to become a United player in the near future, the midfielder is set to leave Chelsea, who he featured 43 times for last term across all competitions.<\/p>\n
However, former Chelsea star Joe Cole believes that the 22-year-old is likely to get more game time once he moves to United following the departure of Casemiro.<\/p>\n
