News that Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Andrey Santos from Chelsea for \u00a350m in the last 24 hours had plenty of people talking about a midfield revolution at Old Trafford \u2013 after all, the Red Devils only recently completed a deal to sign Ederson from Atalanta.<\/p>\n

Only \u2013 they haven\u2019t. Everyone is talking about that deal as done because a \u20ac45m fee was agreed, and the player seemed to want a move. But it\u2019s yet to be confirmed \u2013 no medical has been taken yet either.<\/p>\n

Ederson move \u201cstill on\u201d despite rumours and silence<\/h2>\n

That\u2019s led to speculation that the whole thing could fall apart, with Brazilian sources spreading scare stories that it\u2019s on the verge of collapse.<\/p>\n

TeamTalk are here to calm the waters however \u2013 they have a source saying that \u201call will be confirmed in due course,\u201d and that the move is \u201cvery much in place and still on.\u201d It\u2019s just a question of logistics.<\/p>\n

It seems both Santos and Ederson are coming in this summer to add some Brazilian backbone to Michael Carrick\u2019s team for the season to come, and the incomings probably won\u2019t end there either.<\/p>\n
