Manchester United have agreed a \u00a350m deal to sign Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos.<\/p>\n

The agreement is broken up into a guaranteed \u00a348m payment plus \u00a32m in add-ons. Chelsea will also retain a 10 per cent sell-on clause.<\/p>\n

Santos is now preparing to undergo a medical with Man Utd.<\/p>\n

The Brazil international faced a battle for regular game time this season given Chelsea will not participate in European competition.<\/p>\n

Santos joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama and has since played on loan at Nottingham Forest and at Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg.<\/p>\n

Santos featured in 43 matches for Chelsea in all competitions last season, scoring three goals and contributing four assists.<\/p>\n

What other positions are Man Utd targeting?<\/h3>\n

Crysencio Summerville<\/strong> remains the No 1 target on the left wing, despite the club prioritising midfield this summer.<\/p>\n

United have held initial, exploratory talks with West Ham over a deal for the Netherlands international but they are not the only Premier League club interested.<\/p>\n

His future is expected to be clarified in the coming weeks after Netherlands were knocked out of the World Cup by Morocco.<\/p>\n

United ideally want to sign him using funds from the sale of Marcus Rashford<\/strong>who is set to return to Old Trafford once his post-World Cup break is finished.<\/p>\n

Depending on how far England go into the tournament, that could be well into August.<\/p>\n

Tottenham are also in the running for Summerville and United are very aware they could lose out to Spurs on another priority signing if they do not move quickly, having previously seen midfield target Mateus Fernandes opt to move to north London from West Ham this summer.<\/p>\n

There is also still a chance Rashford stays as a squad player under Carrick.<\/p>\n

The pursuit of Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall <\/strong>is on hold until they have recruited more midfielders.<\/p>\n

Geovany Quenda <\/strong>has completed his \u00a340m move to Chelsea <\/strong>on an eight-year contract.<\/p>\n

Chelsea agreed a \u00a340m deal to sign Quenda in March 2025, with the player staying at Sporting Lisbon for the 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old suffered a metatarsal fracture at the end of 2025, which kept him out of action until March 2026.<\/p>\n

He spent time using the facilities at Chelsea last season as part of his rehabilitation.<\/p>\n
