West Ham are reportedly in a four-team transfer battle for Wolves defender Santiago Bueno.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Hammers will be looking to strengthen their defence this summer if they remain in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

West Ham target Wolves defender Santiago Bueno<\/h2>\n

Many West Ham supporters will recognise Bueno\u2019s name, as he has played 90 minutes against them twice this season.<\/p>\n

Wolves kept a clean sheet in a 3-0 victory in January, but the Hammers won 4-0 at the London Stadium three weeks ago.<\/p>\n

While it has obviously been a difficult season for the Midlands club, Bueno has stood out as one of their better players.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why West Ham, Leeds, Crystal Palace, and Brentford are all interested in signing him this summer.<\/p>\n

According to Sport Witness, the four Premier League clubs have already \u201cmade contact\u201d ahead of a potential transfer.<\/p>\n

Bueno has no interest in playing in the Championship next season and will explore a move after the World Cup.<\/p>\n

The Uruguayan\u2019s price tag has not been revealed, but it will be cheaper than if Wolves had not been relegated.<\/p>\n

Although Transfermarkt values him at \u00a38.7 million, it would surely cost closer to \u00a320 million to sign the Premier League-proven defender.<\/p>\n
