Igor Thiago has been excellent since joining Brentford, and he has attracted the attention of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to a report from TEAMtalk, the Brazilian striker could be on the move at the end of the season, and Brentford are already looking at alternatives. They have identified Matviy Ponomarenko as a target in the summer. It remains to be seen whether they are prepared to let Thiago leave the club in the summer.<\/p>\n

Thiago has also been linked with Manchester United.<\/p>\n

Chelsea could use Igor Thiago<\/h2>\n

The South American has 24 goals in 35 appearances this season, and he has been linked with Newcastle and Manchester City as well.<\/p>\n

It is no secret that Chelsea needs to bring in a quality striker. Liam Delap has scored just twice this season, and they need to find an upgrade on the former Ipswich Town striker. Thiago could be a quality acquisition, and he could form a solid partnership with his compatriot Joao Pedro at the London club.<\/p>\n

Can Spurs sign Thiago?<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, Tottenham need more quality in the attack as well. Dominic Solanke has not been prolific enough, and he needs more support in the attack. Thiago is well settled in the Premier League, and he could make an immediate impact. However, Tottenham must secure their top-flight safety if they want to sign the player. The Brazilian will not want to compete in the second division of English football.<\/p>\n

The striker has a long-term contract with Brentford, and they are likely to demand a large transfer fee for him. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea or Tottenham is prepared to pay a premium for him. A quality striker could transform them in the attack, and Thiago is certainly capable of making an immediate impact with them.<\/p>\n
