Manchester City confirmed the deal on Friday, adding another experienced England international to the WSL champions\u2019 squad. Reuters also reported the move as City continue to strengthen after winning their first league title in a decade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chelsea have already moved on the left side this summer. She won five WSL titles, four FA Cups and three League Cups, while also helping the club reach the 2021 Women\u2019s Champions League final.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her move also fits City\u2019s wider plan. The champions have already added Beth Mead from Arsenal, while Khadija Shaw\u2019s new contract gave them another major lift.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Chelsea, the timing is important.
