Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion are lining up a potential battle for Atalanta\u2019s Honest Ahanor this summer. <\/strong><\/p>\n

On June 25th, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy of Brighton talks for the 18-year-old and Inter Milan\u2019s Davide Frattesi. The Seagulls are keen on the two players, who share the same agent.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have now joined their Premier League rivals to show interest in Ahanor.<\/p>\n

Chelsea in picture for defender <\/strong><\/h2>\n

On July 1st, Xabi Alonso\u2019s side completed the signing of Marco Palestra from Atalanta.<\/p>\n

The west London club are again looking at the Serie A side, this time for Honest Ahanor. That\u2019s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who covers the latest on the Blues and Brighton & Hove Albion.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are pursuing the centre-back, who joined La Dea from Genoa for a reported fee of \u20ac16m plus \u20ac4m bonuses in July 2025.<\/p>\n

He played 1,902 minutes from 35 matches for Atalanta last season and his displays helped him debut for Italy during the friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece in June.<\/p>\n

Ahanor\u2019s development had already caught the attention of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest. Fabian H\u00fcrzeler\u2019s side and the Stamford Bridge club are now added to his suitors list.<\/p>\n

Blues told be cautious about Brighton <\/strong><\/h2>\n

TMW claims Chelsea must \u2018be careful\u2019 about other Premier League sides and this is when Brighton & Hove Albion get a mention.<\/p>\n

The Seagulls have already signed Pascal Struijk and Michael Svoboda from Leeds United and Venezia respectively. Recent claims from elsewhere have covered their interest in Tottenham Hotspur\u2019s Luka Vu\u0161kovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Brighton are also looking at Honest Ahanor, a player pursued by Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Ahanor\u2019s contract, value and agent info<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Atalanta player has two years left on his contract, and Transfermarkt value him at \u20ac30m.<\/p>\n

Agency GR Sports, headed by Italian agent Giuseppe Riso, manage Honest Ahanor.<\/p>\n
