Replacing Andrey Santos with a player who already has some experience in English football makes sense on paper. Yet, if this is purely agent-led manoeuvring rather than a genuine scouting push by Chelsea, the story has been blown out of proportion. Newcastle look like a much more realistic destination right now. Paying \u00a334 million for a player who just sat on the bench for most of the World Cup feels steep.<\/p>\n
