Simon Johnson\u2019s words outline a change in tack from the sporting structure away from just trying to buy the flashiest young talents.<\/p>\n \u201cA list of targets has been drawn up, and they have identified Premier League-ready players as a priority for their recruitment this summer,\u201d Johnson writes.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAccording to sources, they want players with top-league experience who are used to the tough schedule of playing in four competitions in a season. They are also looking for players who are emotionally mature and have strong character.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n It all sounds very promising \u2013 although surely these are the exact things they\u2019ve been targeting all along.
