The Dale have completed a successful strategic recruitment by bringing in highly-rated Chelsea centre-back Kaiden Wilson on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old has made six appearances for the Blues\u2019 Under-21s in the EFL Trophy but is yet to make his senior bow for the club.<\/p>\n
Wilson comes to Spotland from a highly-rated youth background where he was the main man in Chelsea\u2019s successful Under-21 side last season. The 18-year-old, who was born on September 2, 2005, is under contract with the Stamford Bridge hierarchy until June 30, 2030, showing the great value the West London club places on him with his huge long-term potential.<\/p>\n
Wilson could be thrown in for his debut at any time, giving Dale fans an early glimpse of their new signing. He could make his competitive bow for Dale in the EFL Cup preliminary round tie at home to Tranmere on Saturday, August 1.
