Arsenal are getting stuck into their transfer window now, aiming to sign Newcastle stalwart Bruno Guimaraes as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

The midfielder has told the Magpies he wants to leave, and now just has to hope that the Gunners make a bid big enough to get a deal done. Former Premier League scout Keith Wyness has some strong views about where the move could go from here.<\/p>\n

\u201cBruno is probably the heartbeat of Newcastle and the fans would probably agree with me. He\u2019s been the heart and soul of the club going forward\u201d Wyness told Football Insider.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs there a middle ground here at \u00a390m? Will Arsenal go up? Will Newcastle come down? And I think the player in this case has all the cards.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he decides he wants to go to London and play for Arsenal, which I\u2019m hearing he does, then I think you may see Arsenal make the deal sweet enough that Newcastle will have to accept it.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s close enough that I think it can get done and structured in some way, and I think Newcastle can see the writing on the wall. It\u2019s a difficult one for them. But I do expect Bruno to push that through.\u201d<\/p>\n
