Chelsea have received a boost after Nicolas Jackson decided he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge and impress new head coach Xabi Alonso.<\/strong><\/p>\n Aston Villa are among several Premier League clubs showing interest in the Senegal international. Unai Emery remains keen on reuniting with the striker after helping him establish himself in European football at Villarreal.<\/p>\n However, SunSport reports that Jackson is focused on returning to Chelsea rather than pursuing an immediate transfer. His representatives have reportedly been told that the Blues are prepared to reintegrate him into Alonso\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n Jackson is currently on holiday following Senegal\u2019s World Cup campaign. He is expected to join Chelsea\u2019s pre-season tour, which begins in Sydney on 28 July and finishes in Malaysia on 9 August.<\/p>\n The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich after falling down Chelsea\u2019s attacking hierarchy. He scored 11 goals in 34 appearances during his season in Germany.<\/p>\n Jackson now appears ready to compete for his place under a new manager. ReadChelsea previously reported that Alonso plans to assess Jackson during pre-season before making final decisions over his forward options.<\/p>\n Competition remains strong.
