The race for Cristian Romero\u2019s future continues to be a hot topic in Europe as the Tottenham captain prepares to defend the World Cup title with Argentina this evening, while Djed Spence could also follow him out the door.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inter Milan could attempt double deal for Tottenham defensive duo<\/h2>\n

Corriere dello Sport have now claimed that the Serie A club are looking to restructure their backline with a \u2018double deal\u2019 for Romero and Spence.<\/p>\n

However, the report confirms that other sources have reported on the matter, explaining that Tottenham\u2019s asking price remains the \u2018major obstacle\u2019 to the two deals.<\/p>\n

It is revealed that the North London club are demanding \u20ac40m (\u00a334m) for Spence and \u20ac50m (\u00a342.5m) for Romero.<\/p>\n

Spurs\u2019 asking price for the Argentine defender is said to be higher than the fee Chelsea want for Trevoh Chalobah, who Inter deemed too expensive.<\/p>\n

Inter may look for a different formula for Romero<\/h2>\n
