Enzo Maresca wants Enzo Fernandez to join Man City<\/h2>\n

According to Touchline, Enzo Maresca has told Manchester City that Enzo Fern\u00e1ndez should be their top priority for the summer transfer window. <\/p>\n

The Italian manager, who is expected to succeed Pep Guardiola, is pushing hard to get the deal done.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no guarantee Guardiola will leave Manchester City in the summer, and a lot could depend on Enzo Fernandez\u2018s views. But one thing that isn\u2019t going in their favour is the fact that Chelsea look set to miss out on Champions League football this season. <\/p>\n

After the falling out involving the Chelsea owners and Enzo Maresca, it\u2019s clear that any kind of business between Man City and the Blues won\u2019t be happening under their watch, unless it benefits them.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut Enzo Fernandez is interesting because you can imagine Chelsea, were they to sell Enzo Fernandez with potentially, and it\u2019s a hypothetical, Enzo Maresca in charge, getting a call from Man City saying under Enzo Maresca, we want Enzo Fernandez, the vice-captain of Chelsea, the price is going to skyrocket.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I don\u2019t see any scenario, if I\u2019m perfectly honest, even with Rodri potentially leaving, where Man City drop the fee required to sign both Enzo Fernandez and Elliot Anderson.\u201d<\/p>\n
