Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has turned down a new contract at the club<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Just last week, new Cherries boss Marco Rose told the media he was confident that in-demand Scott and Junior Kroupi would remain on the South Coast for their Europa League campaign.<\/p>\n
Bournemouth\u2019s policy this summer is to keep hold of their best players for Europe – including Scott, Kroupi and winger Rayan – but it remains to be seen if substantial offers would test their resolve.<\/p>\n
Scott played 39 times for Bournemouth last season and was key to securing European football for the first time in the club\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
Thomas Tuchel awarded Scott his first international call-up last November, although he did not earn a cap.<\/p>\n
The midfielder also travelled to the United States with the Three Lions before the World Cup to take part in their tournament preparation camp.<\/p>\n
