A transfer masterlcass from new majority owner Daniel Kretinsky has landed West Ham a whopping \u00a368m for Crysencio Summerville and wiped out the club\u2019s deficit in the process.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Kretinsky showed he meant business with his hardline stance on West Ham\u2019s sale of Mateus Fernandes to Spurs.<\/p>\n

The Hammers chief set an \u00a385m price on Fernandes\u2019 head and refused to entertain anything less.<\/p>\n

West Ham reaped the rewards when not only paid it, but up front too.<\/p>\n

Kretinsky masterclass as West Ham get \u00a368m for Summerville<\/h2>\n

Kretinsky has made it clear West Ham do not need to sell players for financial reasons.<\/p>\n

But the sales of Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville, who had a relegation clause in his contract, were sanctioned for a number of reasons \u2013 including wiping out the club\u2019s Premier League relegation deficit.<\/p>\n

And a Kretinsky masterclass has seen West Ham achieve that with the eye-watering \u00a368m sale of Summerville.<\/p>\n

Last week, Hammers News reported that mega rich Saudi outfit Al Hilal\u2019s interest in West Ham winger Summerville was real.<\/p>\n

At the time, though, it was claimed by sources that a move to Saudi was not Summerville\u2019s preference and that West Ham would not be able to get big bucks due to the Dutchman\u2019s \u00a350m release clause. <\/p>\n

Roma and Aston Villa have been the frontrunners since.<\/p>\n

In a Hammers News exclusive this morning, West Ham confirmed Summerville was leaving but his destination was unknown.<\/p>\n

But now, out of the blue, Sky Sports is reporting that West Ham have agreed a whopping \u00a368m deal with Al Hilal.<\/p>\n

And it comes as Kretinsky rejected a host of bids from Roma \u2013 and others \u2013 knowing Summerville\u2019s release clause was due to expire.<\/p>\n

It was something of a risk but it has instantly paid off as Al Hilal have blown everyone else out of the water to get a free run at Summerville.<\/p>\n

Al Hilal are paying Summerville nearly \u00a34m a year plus bonuses \u2013 nearly twice what was on offer at Roma.<\/p>\n

It means Kretinsky\u2019s transfer masterclass with Fernandes and Summerville has raised \u00a3153m in just two deals \u2013 completely wiping out the deficit West Ham will experience dropping down to the Championship from the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Estimates say lost revenue from relegation amounts to around \u00a3130m all told.<\/p>\n

But with over 50,000 season ticket holders, matchday income will not be hit hard as it would be at lesser clubs.<\/p>\n

Kretinsky buying an additional 16 per cent of the club has injected \u00a390m to pay down debts and satisfy financial rules.<\/p>\n

The Czech billionaire is willing to fund Nuno Espirito Santo\u2019s summer war chest by personally injecting funds.<\/p>\n

The good news keeps on coming at West Ham, who will now turn attentions to signing a replacement for Summerville and improving Nuno\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n
