In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Chelsea are eager to recruit Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix. It has been stated that the Blues have set their sights on the French centre-back and are keen on finalising a move for him this summer.<\/p>\n
Lacroix\u2019s Solid Campaign In The Premier League<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Lacroix was a rock at the back for the Eagles in the previous campaign when he produced a string of impressive displays for them on the defensive end of the field. The 26-year-old scored three times and earned three assists in 55 matches for Crystal Palace last season across multiple competitions.<\/p>\n
The English talent is currently one of the most talented centre-halves in the Premier League. Therefore, Chelsea would do well to bring him to Stamford Bridge in this transfer period.<\/p>\n

Should Chelsea Boss Xabi Alonso Snap Lacroix Up This Summer?<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Lacroix is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is an accurate distributor of the ball as well from the back.<\/p>\n
Standing at 1.90m, the French talent can use his strong frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. Lacroix is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at the West London club if they can find a way to recruit him this off-season.<\/p>\n
We can expect Lacroix to inject more quality and depth into Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso\u2019s defence. He has what it takes to challenge for a regular starting role at Stamford Bridge in the coming seasons.<\/p>\n
At 26, Lacroix has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a good choice for the Blues to pursue this off-season. He will also help Chelsea challenge across all fronts in the future.
