Discussions are also continuing with Garnacho\u2019s representatives over a possible move to Villa Park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fabrizio Romano reports that Unai Emery has approved Garnacho as a target following Morgan Rogers\u2019 British-record \u00a3117million transfer in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The offer represents a significant development after Chelsea and Villa initially discussed Garnacho and Nicolas Jackson during negotiations for Rogers. Sky Sports previously reported that Chelsea prefer a permanent transfer and value the 22-year-old at around \u20ac50million, or \u00a342.6million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It remains unclear whether Villa\u2019s purchase clause would be optional or become mandatory under certain conditions. The value of the overall package has also not been disclosed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Garnacho\u2019s approval remains another important part of the negotiations. Roma have pursued the former Manchester United winger throughout the summer, although Villa can offer Champions League football and an immediate return to the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chelsea now have a concrete proposal to assess as Xabi Alonso reduces the number of attackers in his squad.
