Italian side Roma have launched a crushing revenge attack on West Ham and still hold out hope that Crysencio Summerville will sign for them instead of Al Hilal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

West Ham could be burned twice by Roma after major transfer developments overnight.<\/p>\n

The Italian side had been the frontrunners to sign Hammers ace Crysencio Summerville until last night.<\/p>\n

Roma made a series of bids below West Ham\u2019s \u00a350m release clause for Dutch winger Summerville, which were all rejected by Hammers chief Daniel Kretinsky.<\/p>\n

Roma launch crushing Disasi revenge attack on West Ham<\/h2>\n

It was a risky game from both Roma and Kretinsky given Summerville\u2019s clause has now expired.<\/p>\n

Saudi side Al Hilal took advantage of that overnight by blowing everyone else out of the water and agreeing a deal worth a total, including add-ons, of \u00a368m.<\/p>\n

Hammers News revealed mega rich Saudi outfit\u00a0Al Hilal\u2019s interest in West Ham winger Summerville was real last week.<\/p>\n

But we also reported that a move to Saudi was not Summerville\u2019s preference with Champions League football the World Cup star\u2019s priority.<\/p>\n

That limited what West Ham could push for in terms of fee \u2013 until Al Hilal agreed that blockbuster deal.<\/p>\n

Now Roma have launched a crushing revenge bid on West Ham and still hold out hope of a late deal with Summerville.<\/p>\n

According to reports in Italy, Roma have made a move for top West Ham target Axel Disasi and are confident he will join them.<\/p>\n

Hammers favourite Disasi is one of 12 players Chelsea are desperate to sell to comply with financial rules.<\/p>\n

Roma could deny West Ham Disasi and \u00a315m in Summerville cash<\/h2>\n

Top Chelsea insider Simon Phillips revealed last week that the\u00a0Hammers have lodged a \u00a325m bid with the Blues for Disasi\u00a0since Kretinsky became majority owner.<\/p>\n

Phillips also revealed Disasi was \u2018yet to turn the Hammers down\u2019 even if a deal has always seemed like a pipe dream in the wake of West Ham\u2019s relegation from the Premier League.<\/p>\n

After being snubbed by West Ham on Summerville, now Roma have made a bid for Disasi and have the lure of Champions League football.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it is also being claimed in Italy that Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini believes he can persuade Summerville to join his side instead of Al Hilal and talks are reportedly planned today.<\/p>\n

West Ham could, by the letter of the law, report Roma for tapping up if that takes place without a club-to-club agreement over a deal.<\/p>\n

Gasperini ruled out a move for West Ham winger Summerville at the weekend, saying his wage demands were too expensive.<\/p>\n

The wages on offer in Saudi \u2013 amounting to over \u00a34m per season \u2013 will far outweigh what Roma can afford.<\/p>\n

But it is being claimed Gasperini will look to play on the fact Summerville is too young to play in a lesser league like Saudi, especially having just broken into the Holland senior side.<\/p>\n

It means Roma could not only dash West Ham\u2019s hopes of signing Disasi but cost the Hammers around \u00a310-15m in guaranteed money for Summerville if he opts against joining Al Hilal.<\/p>\n
