They have now turned their attention to Scott.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bournemouth ace is capable of playing across the midfield. He is press-resistant, an excellent ball carrier, links play well and possesses a relentless work rate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scott helped Bournemouth qualify for the 2026\/27 Europa League. He featured in 37 Premier League games, registering three goals and one assist.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Year award, which was won by Manchester City\u2019s Nico O\u2019Reilly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in the 22-year-old. Bournemouth have previously rejected an approach from the Gunners for Scott.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scott has two years left on his current contract and has rejected Bournemouth\u2019s latest renewal offer. The club may eventually have to sell the former Bristol City player this summer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is unclear whether Chelsea will be willing to match Scott\u2019s valuation if Bournemouth change their stance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chelsea have signed Morgan Rogers in a British-record deal and need to raise funds from player sales to avoid breaching the financial rules.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bournemouth have rejected Chelsea\u2019s approach for Alex Scott, according to journalist Alex Crook.
