Joe Cole has urged Frank Lampard to steer clear of a third stint in the Chelsea dugout, labelling the lack of managerial control at Stamford Bridge as \u201cinsane.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Lampard has seen his reputation soar this season after guiding Coventry City back to the Premier League, clinching the Championship title with the Sky Blues just one year after a brief interim spell at Chelsea.<\/p>\n Following the sacking of Liam Rosenior last week, Lampard\u2019s name has inevitably been linked with a return to west London.<\/p>\n However, his former team-mate Cole believes the 47-year-old should ignore the sentiment and focus on the project he has built at the CBS Arena.<\/p>\n \u201cFrank should stay away from it,\u201d Cole told Paddy Power.<\/p>\n \u201cThe temptation for Frank, because he loves the club, would be to come back and give it another whirl.<\/p>\n \u201cBut he\u2019s done a fantastic job at Coventry. Nobody would have backed them for promotion at the start of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n Cole warned that the current structure at Chelsea makes it almost impossible for a head coach to succeed under the current model.<\/p>\n He added: \u201cIn any job, you\u2019re being judged on your results, but (at Chelsea) you don\u2019t have full control over what you can do. That\u2019s insane.<\/p>\n \u201cAll of his focus and mental energy now should be about recruitment for Coventry.
